A first time user has to register with LLP portal to use the services offered by the portal. For registration, he has to provide the necessary information and then choose user ID and password. Digital signature certificate is also to be uploaded depending upon the user type selected. Following are the types of users of LLP portal:
A Registered User has access to the basic e-Services of LLP i.e. view profile of registered LLPs and obtaining DPIN. All users under this category have a 'Password' based login.
A Business User has access to other functionalities (incorporation of LLP, e-filing etc), in addition to all the basic e-Services of LLP which are available to a Registered User. Users under this category primarily have a 'DSC' based login and consist of Designated Partners, practicing professionals and individuals associated with companies.
